{VIDEO} Banana Split Smoothie

A banana split, that you can drink with a straw for breakfast, with my Banana Split Smoothie!

I would probably eat banana splits for breakfast every day if it was acceptable to eat ice cream for every morning, so I am so obsessed with this smoothie. You don't even need any ice cream to make it, because of my secret ingredient.

This gorgeous layered treat is packed with fruit, Greek yogurt and a little splash of my secret ingredient, a little International Delight Sweet Cream coffee creamer, to give it that creamy, dreamy sweet ice cream flavor. It's finished off with all your favorite toppings, for the ultimate breakfast, dessert, or special occasion treat.

So the bananas is what's going to give your smoothie, that ice cream texture. Paired with a little sweet cream creamer, to give it that ice cream flavor, it literally makes this thing taste like a milkshake loaded with ice cream. Just make sure your banana are nice and ripe, before you peel, slice and freeze them, that way your smoothie will be nice and sweet and creamy.

If you do not have frozen fruit to use for the smoothies, you can definitely use fresh fruit, just go ahead and add a handful of ice cubes before blending, to make sure it stays nice and thick and frosty. I also like to use Greek yogurt because it's a lot thicker than regular yogurt and adds a lot more protein.

Now, you can definitely leave off the toppings and just garnish this with some fresh sliced strawberries, pineapple and bananas. But I really wanted to take this treat over the top, so I piled on all my favorite sundae toppings to really customize this.

Go ahead and double the recipe as many times as you need, switch up the strawberries for cherries, add in a little pineapple, get creative and have fun to make this as decadent or as simple as you like.
