Simple Layered Flavored Fudge (with tons of flavor combinations)

This fool-proof fudge is seriously sooo easy to make and comes out perfectly smooth, creamy and decadent every time! My favorite part is that you can layer the fudge to create just about any type of flavor combination you can think of! I made a list of some of my favorite flavors, so take a look or get creative and come up with your own mix-ins and flavor pairings!

You can use any type of chocolate combination you like for the layers, but I like to use semisweet as a base, since it is a little more sturdy, with a flavored white chocolate on top. Even spike the melted chocolate with liquor for a fun adult twist!

You can cut the traditional squares of fudge, or pour it into cupcake liners (I used mini ones) for perfectly portioned, self-packaging, bite-sized pieces. These are also great to make for parties, work/school, or to give out as gifts because they can be served and packages up so easily for a perfect little treat.

But the best part of all, is cutting them into cubes and devouring sampling all of the scraps!

To make it even simpler, you can even use the microwave instead of the stovetop to melt the ingredients, according to the directions on your package of chocolate chips! Slice it up or use a cookie cutter to create fudge shapes for a festive touch!

This recipes really couldn't be more simple, using only a few ingredients plus your mix-ins and flavorings of choice.

Just, melt the semisweet chocolate, 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, butter and salt in a double boiler or microwave. I use a glass bowl over a pot with 1 inch of simmering water below it. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and mix-ins if desired. Spread evenly into prepared pan. Then do the same with the white chocolate layer and stir in any desired flavor variation. Chill, cut and enjoy!

Line an 8-inch square pan with wax paper that extends over the edges for easy removal.

Melt semisweet chocolate, 1 cup sweetened condensed milk, butter and salt in a double boiler or microwave. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and mix-ins if desired. Spread evenly into prepared pan.

Melt white chocolate chips and remaining sweetened condensed milk in a double boiler or microwave. Remove from heat and stir in any desired flavor variation listed above. Spread evenly over chocolate layer. Garnish with toppings, if desired. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until firm.

Once fudge has set and is firm, remove from pan by lifting the wax paper up. Cut into squares and serve. For easy cutting, use a plastic knife or dip a sharp knife into hot water, pat dry with a towel and slice.
