These are so easy to make and come out so much better than the store bought variety. All you do is cut up some pita bread into wedges.
Put them on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil and seasonings.
Then brush the oil on to both sides. Be sure to use a generous amount of olive oil to coat the pita to make sure they bake up nice and crispy, with that perfect flavor.
Bake them up, flipping half way through until they are perfectly browned and crispy.
Then serve and snack away! Told you it was easy!

Homemade Baked Pita Chips
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of pita bread
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2-1 teaspoon garlic powder or seasoning of choice, to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons flaky sea salt or kosher salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Cut each pita in quarters and each quarter in half to make 8 triangles. Place them in a single layer on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Drizzle on olive oil, and sprinkle garlic powder, pepper and salt on top. Generously brush on to both sides of pita triangles. Bake for about 10 minutes, until crisp, flipping halfway through. Let cool slightly to crisp up. Store pita chips in an airtight container at room temperature or enjoy immediately with your favorite hummus or dip.
