{VIDEO} Easy Kale Fruit Popsicles for Kids (dairy-free, gluten-free, healthy!)

Easy Kale Fruit Popsicles for Kids! These are dairy-free, gluten-free, and an easy healthy treat, the kids can join in making for themselves.

The great thing about it is that you can’t taste the kale at all, there is no added sugar, and it is literally just fruits and vegetables.

All you need is 3 easy ingredients and a blender. I also use this recipe to make smoothies! If you have a high power blender, the kale gets bended down so much that you can't see any green in the popsicles, so they are a great way to get kids who are skeptical of green food, to eat their veggies!

You can add a little liquid if the mixture seems too thick, or even adjust the kale to your taste. I always use organic produce and like to stick with water, to cut down the sugar, for a healthy, perfect treat you feel good about giving your kids!

This is also a perfect recipe to get kids involved in, because it is so simple and they love making food they made themselves! So if they know they put in kale, and it still turned out sweet and delicious, they may be more interested in trying it in the future, in other dishes!

Kale Fruit Popsicles

Yield: 6 pops

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water (may use orange juice if desired)
  • 2 cups baby kale
  • 2 cup frozen fruit (we used a bag of frozen peach, mango, pineapple, strawberry blend, but frozen berries also work great!)
  • 1/2 of a very ripe banana (the riper, the sweeter)

Directions

Blend all of the ingredients until smooth. Pour into popsicle mold, add sticks and freeze for 3-5 hours, until frozen. Enjoy!
