Why Kids and Moms Will Love This Recipe:
Popsicle Magic: There's something inherently magical about popsicles – they turn an ordinary fruit like watermelon into a delightful, frozen treat that kids find irresistible!
Hands-On Involvement: Get your little ones involved in the kitchen by letting them help with the preparation. From scooping out the watermelon to pouring the mixture into molds!
All-Natural Ingredients: We're using just three simple ingredients – fresh watermelon, honey, and lime juice. No additives, artificial colors, or preservatives in sight!
The Star Ingredients:
Natural Sweetness: Instead of refined sugar, we use agave or honey to sweeten the popsicles. They offer a more natural alternative with added health benefits.
Fresh Watermelon: Our star ingredient, watermelon, is a great source of vitamins A, C, and B-complex, as well as essential minerals like potassium and magnesium. Its natural sweetness and juiciness make it perfect for popsicles. Watermelon is a hydrating fruit with high water content, keeping your kids refreshed during hot summer days.

3-Ingredient Watermelon Popsicles
Ingredients:
1/2 of a small watermelon (about 4 cups cubed)
1-2 tablespoons agave, maple syrup or honey
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Instructions:
In a blender, combine the watermelon, agave, and lime juice.
Blend until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion during freezing. (CLICK HERE for the popsicle mold I used from Amazon.)
Insert popsicle sticks into each mold and freeze for 4-6 hours or until solid.
Once frozen, run the molds briefly under warm water to easily remove the popsicles, if needed.
Serve immediately or store in a resealable bag in the freezer for up to two weeks.
Commonly Asked Questions:
Can I substitute agave with another sweetener?
Absolutely! Maple syrup or honey can be great alternatives if you prefer a different sweetener.
Can I add other fruits to the popsicles?
Absolutely! Feel free to experiment with your kids' favorite fruits and create unique flavor combinations by adding raspberries, chopped strawberries, blueberries and more!
Storing Your Popsicles:
To keep the popsicles fresh and prevent freezer burn, store them in an airtight container or resealable bags. Keep them in the freezer for up to two weeks, though we doubt they'll last that long with eager little hands reaching for them!
How to pick a ripe and sweet watermelon: Look for a heavy watermelon that has a big light yellow spot on it, which means it’s been sitting on the ground, ripening until sweet, that sounds “hollow,” when you tap it.
