How To Make Homemade Brown Sugar
Ingredients
dark brown sugar = For ever 1 cup granulated white sugar, add 1/4 cup molasses
light/golden brown sugar = For ever 1 cup granulated white sugar, add 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
Ingredients
- white granulated sugar
- unsulfered molasses
dark brown sugar = For ever 1 cup granulated white sugar, add 1/4 cup molasses
light/golden brown sugar = For ever 1 cup granulated white sugar, add 1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
Add molasses to sugar...
Beat together for about 3-4 minutes (or longer) until fully combine, light and fluffy.
Store in an air tight container to prevent the sugar from clumping up or getting dry and hard.

This giant version of the classic cinnamon-sugar coated cookies comes simply from baking my small-batch snickerdoodle recipe, which yields 8 regular cookies, into one ginormous cookie.
