These transform any cupcake into a super impressive, beautiful treat, perfect for weddings, showers, parties and more! Even if you are using store bought cupcakes, a simple doily wrapper makes it ultra glam in just minutes!

Custom cupcake wrappers can be pretty pricey, so this fun DIY hack is so much fun to dress up your cupcakes from home. You can purchase doilies in any color, to match the theme of your event, from plain white, for an elegant touch, to glam gold, or even colored doilies!

I got mine at the 99c store in a pack, but you can also buy them online. I found that a 10-inch doily works perfectly, for creating three standard sized cupcake wrappers. Just cut out the center, so the trim is about 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" tall. Then, cut the trim into 3 equal sections. Wrap them around your cupcake and secure with tape or glue.

Ta Da! That was it! I used these wrappers on my favorite homemade vanilla, funfetti and chocolate cupcake recipes, but you can also just use a boxed mix, or store bought cupcakes too!

You Will Need:
  • 10-inch doilies
  • scissors
  • tape or glue
  • cupcakes

Directions:

Cut out the center of the doily, so the trim is about 1 1/2"- 1 3/4" tall. Then, cut the trim into 3 equal sections for the wrappers. Wrap around your cupcake and secure with tape or glue.
