{VIDEO} Ice Cream Cone Shots/Milkshake cups (Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic versions)

These cute, little, itty-bitty cups are made out of the bottom of an ice cream cone, dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles, filled with a boozy ice cream vodka shot, a creamy milkshake or your favorite cocktail.

These super fun and adorable little shot glasses are the most fun party treat ever and everyone always goes nuts over these.

Just a few easy ingredients and you have got edible glasses to drink out of!

Today we're filling them with an ice cream flavored vodka shot, but you can also fill these with pretty much any kind of cocktail, milkshake or beverage you like.

And once you're done with your drink, you have a delish chocolate coated ice cream cone with sprinkles to enjoy. Just make sure you coat the inside of the cone well, so no cone is exposed, otherwise the liquid will soak into the cone and make it soggy and fall apart.

The best part is, you can make the cups in advance, and then, just fill them up right before you're ready to serve, for a perfect party surprise.

Ice Cream Cone Shots/Milkshake cups

Ingredients
  • 12 ice cream cake cones (with the flat bottoms)
  • 12oz melted candy melts (any color/flavor)
  • 1/2 cup rainbow confetti sprinkles
  • 1 cup melted ice cream, flavor of choice (I used strawberry)
  • 2-3 shots whipped cream flavored vodka, liqueur of choice, or leave out to make a non-alcoholic version
  • whipped cream and Maraschino cherries, for garnish

Directions

Slice the wide tops off of the ice cream cones using a sharp serrated knife. Spoon in melted chocolate and spread it into a thin layer, making sure that it covers every little nook and cranny along the bottom and up the sides. Dip the top of the cone into the melted chocolate to cover up any jagged edges and coat the rim. Roll the edge in sprinkles and place in the freezer to set while you make the shots, or about 5-10 minutes and then store at room temperature in an airtight container if you are saving them for later.

Mix together the melted ice cream and liquor (or milk). When ready to serve, fill up your cone cups and top with whipped cream and a cherry. Serve immediately.
