{VIDEO} EASY No-Bake Mini Cinnamon Roll // Bread Crust “cookie” Hack

Kids who don’t eat the ends of bread or the crust? 🙋‍♀️ We’ve all been there. That’s why I love this mini cinnamon roll hack! It turns those crusty or leftover ends into bite-sized, fun little treats that kids actually want to eat. Bonus: it’s easy, quick, and uses ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.

This is perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or even a lunchbox surprise. And the best part? You don’t have to bake from scratch or buy fancy ingredients. It’s like a little homemade cookie disguised as a cinnamon roll… but so much simpler.

This mini cinnamon roll hack is perfect for picky eaters, busy mornings, or just a fun baking project with the kids. Soft, sweet, and irresistibly snackable, plus that easy powdered sugar glaze makes them feel extra special.

Ingredients

  • 1 end piece of a bread loaf (or just a regular slice of bread)

  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened

  • 2 teaspoons agave or honey

  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

  • optional 2 tablespoons powdered sugar + 1–2 teaspoons water (for glaze)

Instructions

1. Prep the Bread

Take the end piece of the bread loaf (or any slice) and lay it flat. If it’s a thicker slice, gently flatten it with your hands or a rolling pin.

2. Make the Filling

Mix the butter, agave, and cinnamon together. Spread evenly over the bread.

3. Roll and Slice

Roll the bread tightly into a log, then slice into little pinwheels about 1-inch thick. These mini rolls are perfect for little hands.

4. Bake

Place the pinwheels on a lined cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, until lightly toasted and golden on the edges.

5. Make the Glaze

While the rolls are cooling slightly, mix powdered sugar with water to make a thin glaze. Drizzle over the warm mini cinnamon rolls for a sweet finishing touch.

6. Enjoy

Serve warm or store in an airtight container for a quick snack later. Kids will love the soft, sweet rolls with the little drizzle on top.

Want and even EASIER version?! Instead of cinnamon sugar filling, do peanut butter filling instead, with honey and sprinkles on top!
