Giveaway: CakeSpy Cookbook {Giveaway Closed}

**THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED**

Here at Dollhouse Bake Shoppe, we LOVE everything whimsical! So when Jessie Oleson of Cakespy, generously donated a copy of her new cookbook, Sweet Treats for a Sugar-Filled Life for one lucky Dollhouse Bake Shoppe reader to WIN, I was thrilled!

It has over 60 of the most original, fun and over-the-top recipes for the ultimate sweet tooth! First of all, the book is covered in the most adorable illustrations of cupcakes and unicorns I have ever seen. And on the inside? Recipes just as whimsical and creative. We're talking Cadbury Creme Eggs Benedict and Cinnamon Rolls Stuffed with Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. I felt like I had entered a magical sugary wonderland as I flipped through it, "ooooing and awwwing". Jessie wrote this book with that hope that she could inspire "a sense of fun and fearlessness to baking", and she did just that.

"What could be sweeter than a cupcake-stuffed cupcake? Perhaps a piece of birthday cake French toast? Or a Pop-Tarts ice cream sandwich? Maybe a piece of Magic Cookie Bar Pie? Oh the choices, how sweet they are. In CakeSpy Presents Recipes for a Sugar-Filled Life, readers find 60 of "Head Spy" Jessie Oleson's most popular, totally sweet treats, along with stunning photography so you can really appreciate the awesomeness of her desserts. And of course it wouldn't be a CakeSpy book without unicorns, robots, or Cuppie the Cupcake. Jessie's iconic and whimsical illustrations are featured throughout the book. CakeSpy's mission is to seek sweetness (literally) in everyday life, and this little book does just that."

Marshmallow Gingerbread Man Pops

Gingerbread kids made of marshmallows coated in a cinnamon ginger spice blend with sprinkles to decorate!

Sugared Strawberry Christmas Lights & Free Printable

After making my little Christmas Tree Brownie Bites and Christmas tree cupcakes with lights made of sprinkles, I wanted to create a Christmas tree light treat all it own. While looking at a picture of a Christmas light, the idea came to me immediately... strawberries and mini marshmallows! I now tend to see items and break them up in to shapes that I can match to the shape of a candy or food since I've been blogging so long! Anyway, I was really happy to make these and take a break from the all the baking ans sugary desserts that this time of year brings. These are a great snack to serve at a holiday party and are really tasty!

Christmas Tree Brownie Bites

Decorate your tree this year, and then eat it! These simple brownie bites can be made with your favorite brownie recipe, or used a boxed mix for a simple alternative. Sprinkles become festive lights, and you have a cute edible tree in no time.

Marshmallow Cocoa Mug Pops/Hot Cocoa Stirrers

These little mugs of hot cocoa on a stick are a really adorable addition to the holiday season. They are super easy to make, using only marshmallows and some melted chocolate or frosting and decorated with sprinkles. You can eat them off of the stick, or even stir them into your hot cocoa!

3-Minute Double Chocolate Chip Microwave Mug Cake (with egg free, dairy free options)

"Bake your cake and eat it too" by indulging in moderation with my small batch dessert recipes! This moist double chocolate chip cake, is actually baked in the microwave in under 3 minutes! This recipe took me a long time to perfect. There are tons of "mug cake" recipes out there, but by tweaking ingredients and cook times, I can now share my perfect, late night chocolate craving, savior. It is so easy and really hits the spot when you need a single serving cake fix in minutes. This recipe is so versatile, takes only minutes to prepare and is virtually fool proof, so give it a try and let me know what you think!

Chocolate Covered Holiday Oreos

Here is a simple and fun way to dress up plain Oreo cookies for the holidays. You can use candy molds or dip them by hand and decorate them with festive sprinkles or chocolate holiday shapes.

10 Minute Microwave Peanut Brittle

This quick and easy recipe, for a no fail peanut brittle is the perfect treat to whip up for any occasion. Instead of stirring a hot sugar syrup mixture over the stove, using a candy thermometer to get the mixture to crystallize to the perfect stage, this recipe uses a microwave. It's a great treat to bring for potlucks, holiday parties, or as a last minute sweet gift. Cooking times will vary depending on the watts of your microwave. It should turn a nice golden caramel color, without burning if watched carefully.

Rice Crispy Treat Hanukkah Menorah & Pretzel Rod Candles

What could be more fun than crunching on chocolate covered pretzel rod "candles" in a candy coated rice crispy treat menorah for Hanukkah?! This 100% edible menorah is pretty simple to make and a really fun treat to eat with the family. It also makes a great gift or Holiday party centerpiece! You can also make mini versions using pretzel sicks and wrap them up for gift giving.

Cinnamon Honey Butter

Take an ordinary starter and put a fun, festive twist on it by serving your bread and biscuits this Holiday season with cinnamon honey butter instead of regular butter! It is so simple to whip together and gives a warm winter touch to a traditional dinner item. Perfect for Thanksgiving biscuits or at Christmas dinner!

Gingerbread Kid Cakewiches

Cakewiches are basically a sandwich made of cake and frosting, quite possibly the best sandwich you will ever have! I made adorable little gingerbread boys and girls out of cake and sandwiched them together with creamy vanilla cream cheese frosting. They couldn't be more adorable and they are a great alternative to classic gingerbread man cookies. You can use red and green colored sprinkles, perfect for Christmas parties, or use rainbow sprinkles for a cute Winter treat.
